It's been a while...

It's been quite some time since the last time I updated. So, what's up? I miss a lot of things. I miss the long coffee kwento time after dinner, I miss VOSA that I almost cried at mass in Valle 5 when they sang it in our blending, I miss hanging out with Faye, I miss Bangkok and Hong Kong... But I've been through a lot of good stuff since I started at Picture Company.

Training just ended last January 30. That was Faye's birthday and I didn't get to spend it with her coz it was out graduation. HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAYE! But since training started, I've been happier and I feel more fulfilled. I'm doind something I've been wanting to do and that is take great photos for a living. It's really fun thinking up compositions for kids and it's even more fun to just click and click with the kids' smiles.

Even better, I made new friends: (photo on the left, from top to bottom) Ellyn, Apple, Kris, Patty and Dana (not in the picture). I took that photo that's why I'm not in it. So there! That's what we've been doing during the training... taking photos of each other just so we get the proper lighting and composition and all that. One thing I realized, nakakapagod mag-model so don't look down on the stick-like blond ones. Their job isn't easy. As for a photo with me in it, here's a one taken by our trainor, but Dana still not in it because she had class.

All Aboard at Picture Company

New Year, New Job! It's been really fun at The Picture Company. It's like I'm back in school. As in I have "classmates" and we're all girls, we have to study (syempre we have to learn the stuff), and we have tests. But it's ok. I'm doing pretty ok at those stuff.

So what's been going on aside from work... I've been watching cartoons. That's my homework. Cool no! As in my regularly scheduled programs are Hi5 and Dora the Explorer. I'm actually so tuwa with them. Maybe I should watch them with Macie so it will be more enjoyable.

So, ayun!

Night Out with the Ayesa Brothers

Ok, here I go again. Last night, Wappy, Anna, Crissy, Trey and I were out for a night of drinking and kwentuhan, thanks to Billy, with... dun dun dun duuun!... the BROTHERS OF MIG AYESA! Yeah! Charles and Alfons!

It was a fun evening. I must have been so high that the alcohol only manifested in the tint of my cheeks, none in the brain. Can you believe that! In which we still ended the night getting coffee. Grabe! Bait ni Billy! He treated me like a little sister. Hmmm!!!

About the Ayesa brothers, they're cool! We all just talked the whole night and took pictures some of the time. Cute pa ni Anna making up stories as to why they will be home after the curfew. As for me, it's hard to believe no waited up just coz I was with Billy... and the boys.

One MiG Day - Part 2

After that caffeine fix of a phone call from MiG, Billy invited me to the promotion of MiG's album at Megamall. So at 3 pm, I picked up Anna from school and we scrammed. We were kinda late, as in we only saw the last 2 songs, but everything that came after it was well worth it.

I bought the new album (the only original album I said I was going to buy and the first I've bought in 2 years) which came with a free poster. And like a true fan Anna and I lined up to get it signed and take pictures. Billy was with us so we could get away with anything. Then the cute part came (autograph signing plus he kissed my cheek):
MiG: Hi!
Me: Hi! (is super starstruck)
MiG: So what name do I put here?
Me: Caren! (in which Mig starts writing "To Karen" but in all my excitement I didn't bother to correct)
Me again: Oh Mig, by the way, I'm Caren from this morning.
MiG: Oh you're Caren from this morning! Nice to meet you! I hope we didn't wake you.
Me: (still super starstruck) Oh no! Not a problem! You didn't wake me up at all. (but actually that was my caffeine fix for the morning)

So we took pictures (see http://asucachan.multiply.com/photos). Afterwhich we met the brothers (they look like Mig). Plus I even had a mighty short interview on what I thought of MiG. It'll come out on December 21 on QTV 11. All I could say was "He's cool! He has a good voice! He's JUST GREAT!" What a dork!

As if that weren't enough, Billy took Anna and I with him to Italianni's. And how lovely... we had some snacks with MiG and the rest of the Ayesa family. Thank you Billy!
