Hong Kong was PERFECT!

I'm back! I really love Hong Kong! For me, it's still the best. And it was extra perfect coz I was finally allowed to roam around without the company of a grown-up, plus Wappy and I got to go around the entire Kowloon and one day with Kuya Ting Ting in Causeway Bay, and we also got to spend some time with Shobe all over the place. Saya! Plus eat all you can Ben & Jerry's.

And Disneyland! Waah! Spent the entire Disney time with Macie so it was extra fun! Will upload pictures soon. I'm tamad to now. Everyone was telling me that if you're used to Disneyland in the States, Hong Kong Disney is corny. Gosh! Not at all! I still felt like a kid and had so much fun. Weird lang coz the the characters would sometimes talk in Chinese so nawawala the magic. But "The Lion King" was super galeng! We got VIP seats pa since Ate Char was in a wheel chair.

Hmmm... Don't know exactly how to describe this vacation. Basta saya! And I think I'm getting high blood right now. The effects of eating duck everyday everyday...

Blasted New Addiction

Blasted Mars! I'm gonna kill her introducing me to Diner Dash. I'm hooked on Sims 2 AND I'm hooked to Diner Dash. My bloody hand aches from clicking the mouse away and letting Flo do my every command.

Anyway, to give way to Hope, let me fulfill my blogger/LJ duty. Sorry Hope! Had to tag non-LJ users since I hardly know anyone who uses LJ.

Ground rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "Five Weird Habits of Yourself" and the people who get tagged need to then write an entry about their five quirky little habits as well as state the rules of this game clearly. In the end, you need to list the next five people who you want to tag.

1. When I see random words on the street, I balance them, e.g. RANDOM is RAN - DOM. If it's BLOGGER, it's BLO - G - GER.

2. I read books making sure that they don't crease, dog ear, get hurt, etc., etc.

3. I bite the excess skin off my thumbs when they get annoying.

4. When I order a hot drink at Starbucks, I can't drink it unless the logo on the sleeve is ON the logo of the cup, and the nib where you drink from on the lid is right above the 2 logos. (Parang this is bordering on OC.)

5. I like touching people's noses when they're cute and shiny (but not with sweat, just shiny).

The Color RED

What is Your True Color?

Caren, your true color is Red!

Your color is red, the color of racy sportscars, blushing cheeks, and luscious roses. Red symbolizes passion, romance, and love. So, since you're ruled by red, you probably trust your feelings more than your brain and tend to act spontaneously. If you see something you want, you go for it without thinking twice — impulsive is your middle name. You don't wait around for people to make decisions, either; you dive right in. Quite the romantic, you pay close attention to your emotions. In fact, if your heart isn't in what you're doing, you won't be satisfied. Of course, even when you do pour all your energy into the projects you tackle, your impetuous nature means your passions can shift as frequently as the wind. That's why some reds have trouble with commitment. Our advice? Next time you're feeling fickle, think before you act, if possible. You might be surprised at the results. Overall, though, it's great to be red. No one lives life more completely than you do.

Speaking of Red, I love Shobe forever! She just got me my digicam - a cute, red Ixus i5 - and I can't believe she got it THAT CHEAP so I ought to bring her some chocnuts when I go to HK! I really love Hong Kong. I know I love Bangkok but the thrill of Hong Kong is different. Can't wait to pick up my new baby on the 22nd and take lotsa pictures of Macie in Disneyland.

What's Up at Gahooyoogle!

I'm bordering on bored right now so I'm name surfing on the net. Talk about bato! But anyway, been playing around Gahooyoogle. I typed these names up and these are what I found:

1. Caren Carlos - my old article that got published on Write Lit.com, a comment I made on Bam's blog, and all these messages I made for the old Griffin Fletch Archery site.

2. Bambie Carlos - her blog comes out on both yahoo and google.

3. Pebbles Lacson - the article about Kuya Nicky's and her wedding that was published in The Philippine Star.

4. Nicky Lacson - Hanep si KN! There's also the wedding but a different blurb; as photo contributor for Pulag Photo, as contact for Philippine Caving Society, a testimonial in my blog, in Wikipedia under the Vitara Club of the Philippines...

5. Manolette Carlos - a message posted on some forum by one Charlie T. Cuna advertising the sale of Kuya's Vernida townhouse.

6. Charlene Panutat - the TA Online Directory with her name and old email address, plus Wesley's underneath.

7. Macie Carlos - her name comes out as searchable because of Bam's blog.

8. Wappy San Diego - an entry from my blog talking about him not being searchable. So now he is!

9. Mikey Atienza - her poem, "Heaven Isn't Quiet", which I posted in my old website.

10. Chris Lacdao - her LJ comes out and a mention of her not being searchable in my blog. So now she is.

11. Matthew Ang - there's an article called "Chess Team Triumphs" from 2004 with his picture on it with a medal. Galeng ni Matt!

12. Ericka Villafuerte - both the Cackleberry Ericka and Tall Peppermint Mocha blogs come out.

13. Faye Reyes - found an article that mentions her and Rachel.

Weird Searches:

1. Willow Huang - there's a Willow Huang who's the secretary general of something.

2. Hope Swann - there's a Hope Swann who was the best teacher one Stephen G ever had but she died years ago.

3. Regina Bautista - there's a Regina Bautista from Mexico, born in September 7, 1871, who died of dysentery. Freaky! Except for the year, she got the birthday right.

4. Mike Robles - there are one-kazillion Mike Robles searches, mostly about Loco Comedy.

5. Dondon Chan - there are actually no searches but I found a CHAN-ROBLES Virtual Law Library. Uy!

6. Anna Castillo - there's an Ana Castillo who's an accomplished writer. Unfortunately, it's not my cousin.

7. Crissy Castillo - there's a Crissy Castillo who's proud to be a part of some company.

8. Bridget Huang - there's a Bridget Huang who's a vice governor or something from Saranggani.

Not Searchable:
1. Regina Pascual
2. Marybeth Nave

Happy New Year!!!

I'm sorry, it's kinda late. I've been on Christmas break and refused to get on the net to check on anything. Also waiting for the local cable guy to come to the house and connect our dsl. I've also been so pre-occupied with a number of new addictions.

SIMS 2!!! Is so bloody addicting. Bam and I have been groggy everyday from playing that game til the wee hours of the morning. So far, we've created Bam, Faye, Mars, Mikey, Wappy, Mike, and myself, and our houses. Bam and Mike already have crushes on each other. Haha! I can hear the Hallejah Chorus! And Mars and I are best friends. Schweet! Have yet to create Willow and not make Bridget her daughter, Hope and make her see a ghost and an alien, Chris, Crissy and Anna, and a bunch of other people. My fun meter is rising.

And there's "The Romanov Prophecy" by Steve Berry. I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a good book to read. If you're not fond of Romanov history, you will be! Don't expect a Dan Brown style of writing excitement but it's almost there.

So anyway, I'm almost done with the book. HAPPY NEW YEAR everone and nothing but good luck this 2006!
