Concert for The SaviourJARS OF CLAY - Show You Love, LIVE in MANILA! Woohoo!
I'm still high from last night. I couldn't sleep and yet couldn't wake up, but who cares! It was totally fun and worth it.
To begin with, JJ had inside connections so the entire Youth of San Antonio paid less 10% of the Upper box B seats, but we were seated at Upper box A. And although we couldn't take pictures nor get autographs, we were able to go backstage and see them up close. Thanks to the manager, I also have a free poster. Yes, I realize I sound so star struck!
More important was the music. There were songs I like and already knew but didn't realize were sung by them. There were songs I didn't know but ended up extremely appreciating. And there were songs I love to the very core of my bone that encouraged me to sing along to my heart's content and scream at the top of my lungs.
One of the night's highlights was when they called this guy named Yet and his girlfriend, Monique, to go up the stage and sing "Unforgetful You" with them. Right after that, Yet explained that the concert tickets were his anniversary gift to Monique on that day, and since it was their 10th year together, he proposed to her, on stage, with all eyes on them. Everyone couldn't help but scream and illicit sighs of content.
And so the night ended on a high note, with coffee at Starbucks.
