A Time of Firsts In Baguio
Of all Baguio trips, methinks this one was best. For one, there were no parent-daughter/son fights. Plus the fact that those present were mostly peace-loving creatures who wish to avoid disputes in a peace-loving land, in a peace-loving season.
I came across this quote, which appropriately was my quote for the week: "When was the last time you did something for the first time?" Perhaps that would be this week.
For the first time I...
1. Had the power (my mom's member card with her name but my signature) to do anything/sign for anything at Baguio Country Club.
2. Played with Macie AND Regina for 5 whole days.
3. Played 2 to 3 games of bowling everyday from Wednesday to Friday.
4. Went to Starbucks John Hay everyday from Thursday to Monday.
5. Had dinner then coffee with Bam, Wappy, Ericka, Mike, and Jem IN BAGUIO.
6. Got allowed to drive whenever and wherever I want without parents and titas.
7. Did not criticize the singing at Pacdal Church.
8. Parked the car on reverse up our steeply inclined driveway.
9. Put in writing that Bam and I promised Regina, Macie and all their future cousins that, as their Titas, will NEVER force them to do anything they don't want to do or don't feel comfortable doing, nor will we give them the guilt trip because we, as nieces, don't like it when that treatment is inflicted on us.
10. ...and Bam caused a commotion all because we couldn't sleep in our own room because of Pop's snore. (Because of that Wappy fell off the bed causing him to stay awake for another hour or so; Kuya Mandy and all the titas woke up because they heard footsteps and a door open and close - us; the drivers in the other house were awakened because they all thought there was a burglar on the loose.)
