When the Talent ShinesI watched "Ice Princess" last night. Of course, like every other movie created by Disney, it warmed my heart. It's such a feel good movie that it made me want to go out into the world, pursue my dreams, and do great things.
While I was watching it I couldn't help but feel sad that those who have all the money in the world and are forced to do things are the same people who don't have the talent; while those who have the passion and the skill to outshine everyone else are those who have to work hard to reach their goals. In a lot of ways, KC (in the movie) reminded me so much of Mars, so much talent and passion in her dancing yet is forbidden by her mother to do so. Then again, when you work hard to achieve your dreams you will be greatly rewarded in the end; if not with results, at least with an experience that will give you confidence. There's no harm in trying and I speak from experience.
