Coffee, Food, Coffee...This year, I told myself that the only person I would collect stickers for a planner was myself, with the exception of helping Bam and Ate. But well, I have this thing with wanting the whole world to experience having a Starbucks planner so I actually got one for Regina and am in the process of collecting for Mikey (She's such a good friend, she deserves it.), then maybe even Teng if I can consume enough coffee til January 15. So much for "going to rehab".
Anyway, the food at last night's office Christmas party was AWESOME! It was in one officemate's new restaurant called Robbie's near Blue Wave, so, like a child, my father made sure I rode with Ton-ton and JJ for security purposes. But the FOOD! I'm talking about this huge fish with mayo - the winner! - and crispy pata, adobong pusit, crabs cooked in this spicy crunchy way, tahong and SUGPO, not sugpo (in a teeny-tiny voice), but SUGPO (in a big, low voice) in this buttery garlic sauce. Aaah! Then it was videoke all night long. They wouldn't let me go without singing so I did my classical rendition (i.e. my voice is so used to church music)of "Breathless" and the walang kamatayang "Dancing Queen". But JJ can really sing, natatabunan lang siya ni Andy and Wappy in church. Imagine him singing "Sex Bomb". Sobrang bagay! And Ton can sing rock too!
