Of Good Deeds and Naughty Babies
12/11/05 - MorningI experienced hypertension like I have never in my life, all because we had to sing for the CCD Sunday School mass at San Antonio. It would've been OK if I just had to sing, but Andy and Willow couldn't make and neither could Ton, JJ, and Chris. So I had to play the piano and sing with what was originally just Bam and me for a group of some 50 people we didn't even know. I've never been so glad to see Fr. Tony in my life. But thanks to Mikey (God bless her soul, she is such a good friend) we had another voice to help us in the singing.
Shame on me, I almost made a run for it all because I was palpitating like crazy. But because my mother taught me to let my conscience be my guide I went back up and faced the music. And it wasn't bad at all. Fr. Tony even told us that we sand beautifully, and, as much as I am not fond of him, I admit that he was very sincere when he said that. Plus the woman in-charge really appreciated it. Good deed for the day!
EveningWe went to Rockwell to take pictures of Macie with Santa Calus, but that didn't happen til after an hour and a half of waiting, in which time we spent taking turns with Macie on the carousel. We suspect Santa was still busy taking a yosi break. And too bad that after all that time waiting, Macie wouldn't even sit on his lap. In fact, she couldn't wait to say good-bye to him.
Kuya treated to dinner at Pancake House after where Macie decided to act all naughty. But it seems her naughtiness is nothing to the potential of the baby currently residing in Ate Char's womb. According to the doctor, who is 60% sure that the baby is a boy, he is the most "malikot" baby she has ever seen while still in the womb. They are without a doubt their father's children.
