Different Baguio

Just got back from Baguio yesterday. It was a fairly enjoyable trip. Different from all the other Baguio trips, but ok!

1. We had Macie from morning til evening, everyday everyday! That in itself was fun enough. She's just so smart and entertaining, and pure cuteness! Plus, she loves my camera that she kept taking adorable pictures of herself and pretty ok (kinda artistic pa nga) shots of the fireplace and the trees.

2. Kuya Dondi, Wappy, Mike and Jem stayed til Monday so, sort of, gimmick, and kwentuhan. And for the first time, Bam and I joined in on the ghost stories on Easter Sunday evening. Lucky for Kuya Dondi and Jem, I awakened to the sound of hammers on our side of the house at 8 am so there was no "slaughtering". Wappy is just mabait.

3. First time to see Mikey and Chris in Baguio so we went out on Holy Thursday afternoon. Coffee and ice cream at The Filling Station with good music to boot. Then just kwento all afternoon.

4. While Ate and Pop were at the market, Bam and I actually walked around Session Rd. with Kuya Nicky. It's actually fun to go around with him. He's really our kuya already.

5. Although I didn't go to Good Shepherd or scouted the market and Minesview (which I found corny this trip), we went on a family road trip to Green Valley (to the peak sana) to see the view.

6. And because there was "Strawberries and Ice Cream" at the The Filling Station, we had ice cream everyday! Grabe! I gained 4 pounds from that blastedly yummy Strawberry Parfait.

7. Went with Macie to her Easter Egg Hunt in Country Club. Kakahiya how Macie's father and titas were so competitive when Macie herself was contented with what she had.

8. I'm now a girl scout. My Finnish fire making skills are getting better that I can make it look the way I want it to. Olli will be proud.

9. And unlike all Baguio trips where I usually rode with Kuya Lito, I drove this time... THE WHOLE WAY back and forth, and IN Baguio.
