Matteo... Welcome to the Family!Last June 9, 2006, Matteo's cries were unleashed into the delivery room of Makati Medical Centre. He weighs 6 lbs. and 12 ounces, and is 51 cm long. What a healthy boy! His name, Matteo, means "God's gift", while Benedicto means "blessed". When placed into context the name Matteo Benedicto means "God's blessed gift". He's truly a gift.
My first nephew and inaanak! He's just so cute... looks like Macie, but with his own face. He seems to exhibit signs of being a takaw baby too, unlike his Achi who doesn't like to eat.
Anyway, everyone's been on their toes to make sure Macie doesn't get jealous. So last Sunday, when Auntie Linda brought Macie to the hospital to see her parents and baby brother, everyone made sure to give her a really big welcome. True enough, she ended up loving Matteo. To top it off, Bam and I even slept over with her for the night and spent the rest of Monday morning doing crazy stuff with her, as well as preparing a welcome home banner for the baby. It was a fun long weekend.
